Shipping Policy – Boardschmiede

1. Scope

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed via our Shopify store at Boardschmiede.


2. Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
For custom-made or made-to-order products, production time may extend processing by several days. This will be clearly indicated on the product page.


3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times:

  • Germany: 2–5 business days

  • European Union: 3–7 business days

  • International (non-EU): 7–14 business days

Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control (e.g. shipping carrier delays, customs clearance).


4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated dynamically at checkout based on:

  • Destination country

  • Package size and weight

All shipping costs are clearly displayed before completing the order.

We may offer free shipping promotions, which will be indicated on the website.


5. Customs, Duties & Taxes (Non-EU Orders)

For deliveries outside the European Union:

  • Import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply

  • These charges are not included in our prices

  • The customer is responsible for paying these fees

We recommend checking with your local customs authority for details.


6. Shipment Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email including a tracking number.


7. Shipping Carriers

We ship with trusted logistics partners such as DHL and international carriers to ensure reliable delivery.


8. Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

If a package is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Failed delivery attempts

We reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees for re-delivery.


9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit:

  • Contact us within 5 days of delivery

  • Include your order number and photos (if applicable)

10. Partial Deliveries

In rare cases, orders may be shipped in multiple packages.
